I presenlty have on E-bay a box of 100 pictures of Movie Stars that was distributed by Screen Art Pictures of Chicago, IL in the late 1940s or early 1950s. This box is entitled "Box No. 1 100 Movie Star Pictures." Each picture is 5" X 7" and is on a slick stock paper. The back is blank. The texture of the picture is that of a picture that would be the sample photo in a picture frame.
(I recenlty contacted someone who suggested that they appear to be the photo that would have appeared on an exhibit or arcade card.) The pictures come in a box. The box cover shows a lot of wear and tear. The inside of the box cover contains an alphabetical listing of all the photos contained in the box. Only one picture, James Craig, has a small tear. Overall, the pictures have to be at least 50 years old, some show browning on the back., but overall the pictures are in excellent condition. This box includes some of the following Movie Stars.
