we all get scam-spam-fraudulent e-mails telling us that they are writing in behalf of
ebay or paypal, seeking password or credit info or wanting us to hit their link (which
is usually a virus or the start of massive spams and POP-UP ads for tons of other
companies). when i am actively selling on ebay, the frequency is 3-4 per day. at
first, i used to forward it to ebay or paypal, but they seem helpless to stop it.
i have accounts with banks, brokerage houses and other financial institutions, and
never encountered any problem with people seeking account info from me. isn't it
interesting that no one attempts to simulate these companies. why only ebay and
papypal ????? and paypal wants me to link my bank account into their system??? NO
WAY!!! NEVER!!!! i use paypal, but i am afraid of transactions with them. there are
many ways around the spending limit at paypal!!!! in light of their down-time these
past few days...................it makes you wonder.
CAN YOU CHARGE A SERVICE FEE TO BUYERS ON EBAY WHO PAY USING PAYPAL ???? Paypal is
owned by ebay (or visa versa)----- look what they make on a single ebay transaction:
listing fee, final credit commission fee, and the paypal fee. wow.
