Dear John,
You are so correct. This morning I had to print directly
from paypal, payments from about 15 customers that had paid sometime in the past
two days but no notification had been sent. I still have not received many of
them, but have received notifications from payment today. So, best to check
paypal before you email your customer asking where the payment is.

Hi everyone,
While paypal has been baving their period of
"technical difficulties" sellers should be aware that notification emails
confirming payments received have not always been sent. Sellers rely on these
emails coming in as soon as a buyer has paid. I just checked my account and
found at least 3 buyers had paid in the last day or so but no notification
email had been sent although some notification emails had come through for
other buyers who had paid.
It would be a good idea for buyers to send
sellers an email to say that they have paid with paypal. Buyers often rely on
paypal to notify the seller and I wouldnt trust that to happen at the
moment.
