MoPo, I apologize for my off-topic reply to that "Lowell Sun" post. I'm not some bleeding-heart Massachusetts liberal... (actually they aren't so bad once you get to know 'em)... It's just that I live less than 5 minutes from 'The Lowell Sun' and felt obligated, as the MoPo-er closest to the situation... so-to-speak... To put that endorsement in perspective. In truth, I run a film discussion group myself, and feel that it's an abuse of the position to endorse political parties, or candidates (in this capacity). My "Lowell Sun" post was more of a public service to those not "familiar" with this newspaper's long-history of political leanings. Otherwise, one might be left with the impression that their endorsement had some "special" significance. As I said, This is NOT an endorsement of either political candidate!
