Before you jump to any conclusions... Let me begin by saying, There will be no more Godzilla posts on MoPo.
Why? Although, the theory that Godzilla wasn't reading/seeing my posts has clearly been proven wrong... Call me crazy, but after logging onto his website? I'm feeling a bit queasy, as if I suddenly learned that the guy I had debated with yesterday was a sexual deviant... Trust me, such an encounter does not make one desire further discourse.
That being said, I do think it's important to acknowledge that there are three different "threads" being woven here. The first, my campaign of humiliation seems to have produced the wrong effect... I have been humiliated.
The second is the "issue" of the damage that's being done to friends of ours/people on this list that have had posters stolen... When you promise to return someone's property, then fail to do so... Instead fleeing over State lines... Until you return every poster... You... are a thief.
The third is the "issue" of the entire hobbie's reaction/condemnation of these business practices, and the willingness to burn collectors at-the-stake with all manner of vile language/obscenity. What am I saying? Hasn't it dawned on you guys that this creep is still getting money from someone/somewhere? He travels around a lot, has money to pay for his award-winning website, etc... Doesn't it seem obvious that he has maintained a good relationship with someone... to pay the bills? Isn't it likely that his $25 "dry-mounts" are a bigger issue to some people than the (until returned) theft of collectors property, and use of vile/perverted imagery to ridicule people. INCLUDING THE OWNER OF THIS LIST! Listen up everyone... I for one will lose all respect for anyone that continues to fund this person's legacy of debauchery. Whatever you save on these qwikee dry-mounts? Trust me... If word gets out that you are supporting him in any way after what he has done? Think about it...
Frankly, as "annoyed" as some MoPo members are with this thread? I would be appalled if there weren't a large/unprecedented show of solidarity... with pledges to... (a) turn over any information about his whereabouts/background that could assist collectors recover their (still) stolen property, and be helpful in civil/criminal investigations. (b) agree to not assist, support, or patronize him in any way, while his reign of terror continues!
Yes, my series of "Godzilla" posts has come to an end... However... This battle has just begun. I had an offer on the table to pay Godzilla for the safe return of all of the posters in his posession. I had hoped that if he would accept a $500 olive-branch, to return the posters (and possibly even delete his URL). A reasonable offer/request which he's chosen to ignore. Therefore... REWARD $500 CASH OFFERED FOR ANY INFORMATION LEADING TO HIS ARREST/CONVICTION in matters related to unreturned posters, defamation, or the violation of any applicable obscenity laws.
Lastly, A word of warning to Scott, and the good people of MoPo... This, I think we can all agree... mentaly-disturbed/sexual-deviant has a habit (among others) of subscribing to groups/lists under fake names for the purpose of "appearing" to be an unbiased 3rd party, in order to... (a) hurt/attack other members of the group (b) bolster support for his... cause? (c) get his website URL out on the lists ... to get more business? I know it seems inconceivable that a "respected" linenbacker would misrepresent himself as someone else... Trust me... he keeps doing it on Style-b. You don't have to be Einstein to see it comin on MoPo... Perhaps someone that's already posting is Godzilla? That's his standard routine... Get in for a while, either lie low (very low), or post some sort-of-coherent commentary, and then... WHAM! (naked pictures).
In conclusion, I would like to repeat my call for support/solidarity for the collectors that are still without their treasures, anyone who had their posters damaged, and those that are being so grotesquely defamed on his website. Speak out... Say it loud and clear... No one should support this person's behavior by patronizing his business/bidding on his auctions until he removes that website, apologizes to everyone in this hobby, and makes full resitution to all of the collectors involved in this tragedy. Any such patronage, under these circumstances would be almost as abhorrent to me as the images this demented sexual-deviant is misrepresenting as my body parts. I don't know about Saul, and Scott, but that is not my bum!
Just to make it clear... I admit it... Godzilla has prevailed on the humiliation front... Therefore, unless there is some news to report related to civil/criminal investigations...
