Yesterday I dragged my boyfriend down to a Trendwest
seminar. Our deal for going was "hey maybe we can afford this...." (which
in a year or two we'll be able to...but the main point was to get the 50 dollar
gift certificate to buy his two neices items for christmas they they need
extremely bad....it is just their grandfather and their mother who works for
minimum wage who support these girls and my boyfriends mom the grandmother...she
has not time to herself because she has to babysit them all the time and had to
quit her job to help her daughter take care of her two daughters after her
daughers husband starting making death threats, abusing drugs, and cheating on
her and never comes to visit his two lil babies which are still both under 2
years old. There are more important things than posters people..sorry to
shock and disappoint you.
I'm more into helping people than buying stuff or selling
it to make a quick buck. Since the age of 14 I have donated part of my
christmas money to the idaho humane society which is where I got my lovely kitty
cat Latte....I have bought food at Petsmart, dog collars, dog leashes...anything
they had on the gift tree I could afford....it kinda annoyed my parents every
year I wanted to do this.
This past Christmas I had no money (I am disabled and do
not work) but as soon as I got money for christmas gifts I went around and
bought presents for everyone and donated to the humane society yet again....I
prefer to buy for other people than myself honestly.......I just wish some more
of you guys were like that or would step forward.
From what I have read people with less income donate more
time and money in their brackets worth to charitable causes than people
with more money generally. There are the people who do more...I am not in
denial of that...but please take one poster and sell it and take all that money
and give it to your local humane society or other charity or families in crisis
in your area. It's actually a great feeling and a good gift to give
yourself...the gift of giving is great!!!!! *sorry cheesy I know*
