Mr. Jr,
Thanks for your comments. Well taken and all appreciated. I still think
poster prices and values go hand in hand with the economy. Unfortunately, I
posted three posts to MOPO before and I will try this time again. I hope it
works. In any case, I will run it again next day. Every collector for any items
knows that if the economy is down their collecting item prices will do down in
prices. There is a cycyle for the economy including hand in hand with the
collectors cycle. Economy and commerical real estate is way up since one year,
same as in the movie poster collecting field. We are in the movie poster
collecting price cycle. Pay low now or higher, prices will go higher, then now
when to sell and then in coherence with the stock market with downward cycle of
the industry you need to hold on before selling without a loss. NOW, after a
long cycyle of poster prcies, people with great posters want to sell, because it
is a buyers market. And it is a BUYERS MARKET IN OUR HOBBY. It is very
interesting to watch. It does really correlate with the stock market and
commercial real estate industry. Anyhow, people that want to sell for a good
price, this si a good price to sell. Sell because it is upward trending market
trend. Everything above $500 in a collecting field should also be considered
as an investment piece. Most people that love posters also think the same
and even they do not think to sell this poster very. I always said that and I
sold a hand full and I am still crying because of that. Again, SUPPLY AND
DEMAND. I talked about it after September 11 at MOPO and I was right. Who
buys??? WHO sells? WHOEVER picked up items for cheap, might be able to sell
these items for a great profit NOW. SO, SELL DEALERS SELL.
Any feedback is appreciated.
