I was very pleased to see that Philipp both has a good sense of humor about my humorous post, and also that he realizes that (in his excitement) he went WAY over the line in criticizing other MoPo members. How nice that he both acknowledged the humor of my post and also that he apologized to those he offended.
But look at the flurry of responses he inspired! If MoPo can keep this momentum for a while, it will surely bring a few more "David Kusumoto's" out of retirement, and how great would that be? Remember when MoPo wasn't just a daily dose of "shat I have on eBay e-mails"? It can be that again.
Speaking of David Kusumoto, I have noticed something VERY unusual. For a couple of years David posted huge book length messages to MoPo. Then "Donnie" appeared, with similar book length messages, but written in a completely different style, and they SEEMED unrelated. But shortly after Donnie appeared, David quit MoPo, citing that he was too busy to keep posting.
Donnie kept posting, but there was no David. Then, a few days ago, David reappears (out of the blue) and announces he is ready to post again. After one or two "David" posts, Donnie announces he is quitting MoPo.
The only possible logical conclusion out of this is that David IS Donnie! Consider: 1) Both write book length e-mails at the drop of a hat. 2) Both their names start with "D" (and David and Donald both end with "D's" as well) 3) Kusumoto and Sullivan both have 8 letters. 4) No one (to my knowledge) has ever seen them together at one time
I could go on and on, but you get the point. I imagine that David will post that he is not Donnie (Donnie will likely be silent because he has quit MoPo) and if that makes "them" happy it is fine with me.
ALL I ASK is that David and/or Donnie keep posting to MoPo. You "two" are just about the best things about MoPo, in my humble opinion!
