[MOPO] List Wars - What, another sequel?

Here is the cleaned-up, PG-rated version of my message to Style B on this dumb topic:   Whomever,   We've been over this ground before. MOPO and Style B are separate but complimentary groups, with a large overlapping membership. They have different approaches, and some prefer one to the other (and a lot of folks can dig both). I have no idea why some people are all of a sudden getting all hot and bothered again about the differences between the two, but it is total balderdash.   There is an NC-17 rule in effect on MOPO, so I can't say it as directly as I'd like,  that this is a f*****g stupid thing to be hassling over and I do wish those fanning such flames would grow up a bit and learn to live with diversity. You can have valid opinions about the worth or personality of an individual on a list, but when you start talking in generalities like "those people over on MOPO" or "those idiots on Style B" then you are moving into the realm of demagoguery (and, incidentally, coming perilously close to violating the list rules about no personal attacks or general slander against any group, race, gender, etc.)   What, did everybody get up on the wrong side of the bed this weekend or what?   I haven't heard much poster or even film talk on EITHER list in quite a while.
