Truly, I don't know.  Sue Heim's response is telling--hardly any posters went to theatres.  The folded one sheets I have handled came from theatre employees; the rolled ones from persons who bought them from the fan club and the person who worked for Fox.  I don't remember ever handling a tri-fold.
