eBay just announced the following:
In the next few days, we will be introducing several enhancements to Completed Item Search to make it easier for members to see important information about listings that have ended.
Changes include:
  • Different font colors for items dependant on whether they sold. The price will be shown in green for listings that ended with a winning bidder, and red for those for items that did not sell.

  • A Reserve Not Met indicator. We will display Reserve Not Met text for Reserve items that did not sell because the Reserve price was not met.

  • A new Action column. A new column labeled Action will be displayed and will include a link to view similar items. Other links, such as list an item like this, will be added in the future.
In addition, the column settings on the Completed Items page will no longer be customizable, and the Shipping column will be displayed permanently.
You can access Completed Item Search by checking the completed listings box in the Search Options section within the left-hand navigation bar on search and listings pages. You can also click on Advanced Search, located underneath the search box in the upper right-hand corner of most eBay pages, and check the box labeled completed listings only.
Regards,
eBay

The idea of indicating what sold and what didn't is wonderful.  But just putting it on completed items is stupid, and typical of eBay.  If they would put it on ACTIVE items they would be giving every eBay user a real holiday present, and be taking the first step towards restoring eBay to what it once was.
