Yes, Helmut, you definitely got those ruby reds by the short and curleys.

Ever think that once all these folks giving their posters away on eBay for
99 cents start-up trying to copy The Grand Masters are done (the ones
without a battery of IDs and some bidding buddies to run the real half
dozen bidders ragged when the $$$ get serious, or buy in stock for peanuts
from gullible consigners for later re-sale elsewhere) that what will be left
are the dealers who started as collectors because they love the stuff and
always have done - have seen the movies and know them - know the history and
treated their inventory with respect... and actually sleep well at night...
are the ones who will be left... still selling real film material to real
collectors.

The real question is - how do serious collectors, whether novice or not,
feel when they see a poster that they may have paid in the past anything
from $20 to $200, or even $2000 being offered on eBay for 99 cents minimum
bid?

Because the bottom line is - if you list something for 99 cents, you are
absolutely willing to see it sell for 99 cents. What then does that make
their collections worth in their own mind?
