humph!! 1st they want to change Bugs Bunny now they want to attack the Mac..:(
and as for Uncle Oscar.... well now.... the entire sculpture isn't exactly the
Pieta if
you ask me.. but it works! and is sleek, elegant, and simple..IMHO
and as For simple art... " art is in the eyes of the Beholder " as is
Beauty..
and as far as selling anyone on a Mac... I am just supplying Observations Of a
sale
and the people I saw.. Not saying that everyone should own a mac... personally
some Macs would not be happy with some owners pecking away at them... and
saying mean spirited stuff..
also If you study your original point .. It was You sir that made the Finite
point and judgment
that the Oscar poster was done like a begging art student... I happen to think
that some beginners
have a equal ability to create Fresh and great art and that was MY point.
That we all can have
different likes..and diversity and that APPLes do have a certain Following of
Graphic artists,
Musicians, filmmakers and the like.. Not theory but fact.
as to the poster being Run Of the Mill... well what would make it better
then... ??
maybe the artists statement was that the award ceremony boils down to people
listening
to a comedian, and hearing names read off to get a simple Gold plated metal
object
called a " Oscar" named after ' Uncle Oscar" to show appreciation for Movie
people
simplistic and quite a statement of the Statue..
I mean what would you like to see??? maybe we could all discuss a better
Image.. what's Your idea. I have some images in my mind of what the poster
could look like But I wont say unless people beg me too.... as It might be too
much for people.. and cause the earth to wobble again..
But let me say this.. I am not part of any cult, or sale group. or government
agency that promotes Macs.. My intention was only to give a counterpoint
response to Your vicious lambasting
of a macintosh computer and a defenseless piece of paper poster.. Right now for
all you know
some proud begging artist.. made be ready to cash it all in after reading your
email.. as he/she
may have used a Macintosh to create this years academy award poster! and
Now.. this debacle..
what If I told you Piccaso had created that Image many years ago with
instructions To not release
it until 2005/// well....???
Leo Caselli a the art seller expert .. had two pieces of string on the wall..
and yet they thought it a masterpiece of art.. Looked like two strings to me..
and Andy Warhols Soup can
looked like a Big soup can... But art seems to be anything it wants to be as
Long as someone likes It
even if its just one person//
as To Inspired.... think about it.. the artist was inspired by what.." the
oscar" actually overwhelmed and Highly focused and zeroed in.. and up close
and personal..
when you look at it what do you see??? a Monkey!!! ?? nope.. I see...Oscar.
that's pretty heavy.. then think what does it represent.. the Academy's Highest
most sought after award. period . simple and finite..
and as for Amway... they are a large company in Michigan and built there empire
on good products.. 7th day adventists i ma not familiar with But I am sure they
have a right to say something just as You have the right to not like a Poster.
Not everyone needs a mac.. but people I have met that like them are Fun and
creative..
Im sure some people that like PCS are also FUN.also and eventually will make
some computers that artist will like as much as Macs..
as far as Insisting you hear about macs.. If You look it was You that insisted
the award post was lame... lacking inspiration..that coud be sad of numerous
posters..
the world is made up off all types and sizes and colors..
Just happens that in Computers Macintoshes are the only ones that show their
colors off well..:)
Notice that all the others are making mac like advances??? guess who INSPIRED
Them..:))))
Mac IS MY LEADER I WILL FOLLOW MAC >> MAC IS MY LEADER
i am not Brainwash the least..
MAC RULES ALL OTHERS ARE TOAST.
nest thing You will be attacking the "Pillsbury dough Boy"... then we will
have a Problem..
nobody messes with Poppin fresh man! nobodddddy!
