Folks,
Last time I checked, there were still bids on this window card on eBay. If there are still doubts, Doug Ball below has this nailed dead on, but sometimes only seeing is believing. I've whipped up a visual comparison of an actual window card and the one on eBay, and posted it to some web space -- here's the link:
It may be a bit larger than your screen top to bottom, and you might have to expand it depending on screen size and settings. Like I said, Doug was all over this like flies on road kill -- it is a shrunk-down version of the 1-sheet (maybe a color laser print or possibly a cut-down repro of some sort). The differences between them are too numerous to mention. You have to give the guy at least a little credit though -- it looks like he must have used an actual Fox window card from the same period, perhaps another Fox film from 1951, because the fine print/date/NSS area at the bottom border has the same configuration as the original DTESS WC. Maybe he doctored the NSS# as well. But whatever image he used for this, he could have at least pasted it on straight instead of cock-eyed! What a maroon!
I'll keep the image up for a bit, but if anyone wants to keep it for reference right click on it and save it to a folder.
