I received an email from paypal that looked pretty legitimate, that this guy by name, was making a payment to me for $52.00.
I didn't open the link because I wasn't expecting any money, nor did I know this person by name.
I went directly to my paypal site after deleting the email and found the email & payment was a fake.

It wasn't Eugene Hughes, but it just goes to show you that these hackers are getting pretty good!

Subject: [MOPO] Eugene Hughes beware of fake money requests

MoPo members beware.  I just received an email request for money with a Paypal address to pay the seller for a poster I did not buy.  The email was from Eugene Hughes  at Linenback.com and when I attempted to email him back I could not get through and my email was returned as undeliverable.

However, the main danger is the link in his request that takes you to a fake Paypal page which only asks for your password and if you give the sender your password--------guess what will happen.

I will forward the emails to MoPo later when I get home from work.
