well Son and i just saw SIN CITY.. I give it a 10 but dont wish to see it
over and over,,

its not a feel good film at all.. but for wat it is,,in the genre its
great,,and takes you on a ride.

If you want to see the nearest thing to a alive or living comic book or dime
store Pulp.. Comic book.. this is it.. bad girls aplenty.. sultry and
vivacious Hookers..

It has all the Noir,, sexy women.. and dirty violence. you can dream up..
Dark inner city

cool 50s cars... highlighted colors and sounds that enhance deep blow
punches/.I see cult classic

in the bladerunner catagory... willis and Rouke and the others look like
chiseled comic book pen and ink characters of like a Bill Ward Torchy erea
Comic..

Yet it portrays a honesty of what is true in society.. yet always covered
up...

so even though its dark,, its dealing with a overhyped sadness in a way
that may acyaully have truth under pinned.

I suggest it as a piece or dark art for any cinema or comic book or lovers
of noir and the kinkiness
of fetishes and the underworld of brothels and people that like killing or
brute force..

what redeems the film.. is a defence of innocence in Kids.. even though
that may sound hypocritical..

overall its a interesting visual and very detective novel 30-50s feel.

when there was the crusty macho images and femme fatalle Images..

Not a movie to take smal kids under 17 to.. Unless you dont mind showing
the testicles

and serious gore ... however its done in the recent Choreographed
violence..

definately Dark.. Rodreguiez and Miller and Tarentino have sculpted a
original transaltion

the actors did some gret character portrayal..

Its a good big Screen portrayal.

best, Tom
