fresnel from MGM studios

circa 30s -40s.. Its the Ornate highly decorative vented cast Iron type

Its heavy and has a stand on Rollers. It has the stickers with MGM on
it. These were purchased

by a friend when MGM soldou the studio to Sony years ago,, I had like
50 and sold a great Number to Paramount studios and had to re-logo
them. :(..

However I have This =ONE= Left!!.. after that good luck as thes are Mole
Richarson brand Fresnels

that were Mole burgandy color.. it is well usd with rust and chips and
wear. However this Light

could have been used On Numerious Movies From the 30s On up to 80s.

Its a showstopper and a great converstion piece and if sold in a Auction
would fetch a good price i bet.

I will give a letter of How I obtained the lights.. and as to where it
came from/

The cute part is these Lights still worked when I got them and have
lamps.. they are 2000 watts

at MGM to take publicity shots ofthose famed 8 x10 view camera shots..

I spoke to George before he died and also have a VHS tape showinghim in
action ... also

he put out a Book " the Hurrell style" by Whitey Stein-1972?
