You know I made a mistake and admitted it. I apologized LIKE A MAN in public. I have yet to see ONE PUBLIC APOLOGY from anyone who did the same thing I DID. I have been a member on here probably longer than most of you. It has been YEARS. This whole thing is why I HAVEN'T BEEN MORE VOCAL. People are fast to attack on here(and elsewhere) yet have no GUTS to make amends when they are wrong. They are GUTLESS. I have received private emails of support and understanding but NO PUBLIC response. Is it any wonder why this group stays at 500 and below????? But that's hardly what matters here. Being a MOPO member doesn't guarantee you anything. Perhaps if you had responded to Dr. V when he wrote you, the two of you could have discussed this privately. We like being warned about potential problem auctions here on MOPO. It has saved many of us a lot of money in the past. So, you don't respond to a private email and thus motivate Dr. V. to post his public warning... ah, now you respond, but your response doesn't really address the key issue. Dr. V fully understands the card is a re-issue, but he believes it to be a reproduction and attempted to inform you about it. Instead of listening to one of the most respected authorities in this area you immediately get defensive and start calling him names? Not a good way to win friends, influence people or generate bidding interest in your auctions. Much of the time a seller is not aware that he has a repro, having acquired it himself under the impression that it was genuine. It's always a disappointment to the owner if it proves to be otherwise -- and many of us have experienced that disappointment. But it's best to listen, investigate and find out the truth rather than get all righteous and indignant and defensive. That's why we appreciate the long-time expertise of people like Dr. V and their willingness to take the time and make an effort to keep us educated and informed. I suggest you get with him and try to work out just what is the true situation with this card. The kind of post you just sent to the list isn't going to help your case at all.

First of all THIS BOZO did not refuse to acknowledge ANYTHING. The card is a R53 as is CLEARLY STATED IN THE DESCRIPTION. It is not a REPRO but a RERELEASE which ANY COLLECTOR with even the SMALLEST amount of knowledge of this hobby would know. EBAy only allows so much space in TITLES so the DESCRIPTION has all the PERTANANT info in it which was explained to THE GENUS Dr VOLLIN.
