I'm interested in adding post 1980 posters to my collection. I've only
collected a small number to date. The majority of my collections is 40's
through 60's. My problem, like many people I'm sure, is that I'm very
scared about all of the different types of reprints out there for the newer
posters.
I'm also scared of putting a lot of money into the more desirable newer
posters because I'm afraid that the abundance of reprints and overall
confusion will destroy the current value for those posters.
I'm interested in hearing what other collectors are using as a strategy for
new posters.
I'm also interested in getting recommendations for current release posters.
Does anybody recommend any of the dealers selling the Star Wars Episode 3
posters for instance? I'd like to stay with positive recommendations rather
than negative remarks. Is there someone you feel comfortable with and has
access to a decent supply of the current releases?
Is there anyone that you trust for newer posters that aren't current release
such as: Silence of the Lambs, Star Wars Episode 1+2, Kill Bill, Matrix
(all), Reservoir Dogs, etc.
