Yeah, my idea to get it out in the open and discuss it was admittedly
stupid. I don't know what I was thinking. Best we keep MoPo safe and
sound.
Sorry about my lapse in judgment everyone.

Hopefully the forums will keep going and its good to see that Jon Warren
has found a partial solution to the problems he has been having at MPT.
However, I think that it is only a matter of time before someone sues over
comments made on one of the forums. The only question is who will be sued
- the writer of the post or the list owner or both. There have been many
unsubstantiated claims and negative comments about various
individuals on MPT over the last month or so and I can understand Jon
taking action. It is certainly good to inform others of potential problems but
any comments should always be factual and not speculation. This business is
quite small and I dont think it would be difficult for someone to demonstrate
that they have been defamed.

Subject: Re: [MOPO] MoPo's
Survival
Scott and fellow MOPOs,
I cannot agree more. It is very sad and a huge loss to see two other
great forums dedicated to movie posters disappear. Both forums went
dead almost at the same time. Strange, to say the least but our group has
been around for over 10 years, myself being a member around 6-7 years. I
just became a member of Jon Warren's group and I was extremely delighted to
see a membership of over 2,000 members. There were some great topics and I
enjoyed the possibility to add pictures in posts. The set up of the forum
was a great addition to MOPO. I hope Jon could set it up differently with
less day to day supervision. In any case, it is a loss for all us poster
collector addicts worldwide.
Again let's congratulate Scott our team on the last ten years and let's
make sure we are here for another 10 years.
Long Live MOPO,
Philipp
