Subject: Re: [MOPO] FA ONLY 3 HOURS LEFT FOR SUPER SCI FI HORROR CULT SALE 2 ON EBAY.

I think a lot of you have missed the major point of this discussion which I have written about a number of times and Michael has reiterated.  Does the writer of the "FA only 3 hours left, etc" ever stop to think about what he or she is doing?  Do the others who state "keep them coming" also stop to think what they are saying?

It must be you few who condone this inane practice because you sit at your computers all day long and have nothing else to do but constantly check your emails waiting for that three hour warning.  I happen to be at the computer at the moment only because of personal business that kept me home and I have a little time to see what is happening on the internet.  I am a busy individual, and I assume most people are. This means MoPo emails take up a few minutes at a fixed time each day AT THE MOST.  Most of the time MoPo emails are read by me every other day or about three times a week and normally at 10 pm at night eastern time.  I pick and choose which sellers emails I choose to read and delete the rest immediately.  I hate deceiving emails so I delete Rixposters because he never tells you that they are foreign posters, of which I have no interest.  There are others that post so often that their sheer redundancy invites the delete button.

What I do find interesting is that as a rule, sellers don't read the emails on MoPo anyway, which means we are preaching in vain.  The only one who does read them is wofshevy and he normally replies with an irate attitude as exemplified by his harsh words, as opposed to being polite and accepting reasonable constructive criticism.

Sellers just don't pay attention to what is sound advertising to maximize profits.  Why place an ad which is going to reach most MoPo readers long after the auction has ended?  Why not place the ad at least 2 or 3 full days in advance so everyone on MoPo is most likely going to see it?

To prove my point, let's see if sellers do read this.  First I will ask Rick Ryan why he deliberately leaves out country of origin in his sales.  (The sad part is that when he does have an American poster he does not get me to see it because I will not wade through his entourage of foreign posters listed under the guise of originals, with the intent of duping perusers into thinking they are USA originals.)

I also invite other sellers to comment but am not hopeful as I am pretty certain they just post ads and don't read comments.

Lastly, I ask wofshevy why he is so defensively arrogant.  If he was not, he would get more action because I certainly would bid on his material and I happen to have more $$ to spend than the average MoPoer.
