Everyone has there own list, I suppose, but comedies were underrepresented, as was David Lean -- how 'bout Bridge on the River Kwai

Advise and Consent (which I just saw on the new DVD set)
All The President's Men

I was glad to see Alexander Mackendrick there with Sweet Smell of Success.
