i was there and participated in the auction a few years ago...not much
different from other major auctions with phone and interent bidding...but i
love being able to participate as a floor bidder which has become all to
infrequent for me...prices realized are realistic and there usually are a
few bagains to be had...Alan

Re: [MOPO] cinevent
I'm curious about the auction at Cinevent. I've never attended the auction
in the past, just browsed the tables. I didn't like the idea of sitting in
a room for most of the day.
This year I looked over the auction items and noticed that it's stated 100
lots are sold per hour. Man, that's moving through the lots. That's a lot
of items in an hour.
Can anyone tell what this auction is like. Is it worth going to? Is it
better than just bidding on line?
Thanks,
John

mopoers/style bers to meet..i will add mopo to my name tag and maybe we
