June 3: SAD NEWS The past few weeks have been a very difficult time for
us... Dan Goldstein, who was the creator and ongoing developer & innovator
of Auction Submit� died recently in a car accident. He was a bright light
in the world and his death has been a devastating blow to his family,
friends, and colleagues.
Among his many other accomplishments, it is incredible to think that he has
provided to us a dynamic, professional quality, free, auction submission
tool since 1999. This included, literally, hundreds of updates to
compensate for the numerous changes on eBay�
At this time, the status of Auction Submit� is as follows:
* Due to eBay� technical changes this past week, Auction Submit�
auction submissions and auction updates are not functional.
* All Shoporium� features are still functional.
* We are unable to create or issue new updates at this time or into the
foreseeable future.
We are currently evaluating our options. These include:
* Abandoning the Auction Submit� project.
* Selling the source code to someone else who wants to continue the
project either as freeware or as a pay for use tool.
* Spending the time to analyze the source code in house and
transforming Auction Submit� into a pay for use tool.
* Come up with some other creative solution.
