lately, i have been on a buying frenzy for hitchcock. last week i got an original REBECCA insert-----beautiful. this year i, also, acquired the one sheet of SHADOW OF A DOUBT, half sheet style B PARADINE CASE (from bruce), and I CONFESS insert. i have other of hitchcock!!!!
.............timing is everything. when i first started collecting, i purchased one sheets of DIAL M FOR MURDER and VERTIGO for 225 each from the same dealer. that was 18 years ago. after about a year, i unframed VERTIGO because it lacked stars....it was only artwork. i was new at this. i, then, tried to sell it in MCW for 300. not a nibble!!!! boy, am i glad. i reframed it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and it has been displayed prominiently ever since.
