WOW folks... I'd never been to a film festival before, except to see a
movie or two, but I have to admit.. this festival is FUN FUN FUN

First of all I've had a chance to meet a number of celebrities, all of whom
have been very nice folks.

George "Foghorn" Winslow is working for the show. Many of you will remember
him as the 50's child actor with the deep baratone voice who was in
Gentlemen Prefer Blondes with Marilyn Monroe and Rocket man written by
Lenny Bruce.

He is a really friendly guy and has been directing people over to my
catalog stacks by the poster exhibits and telling them they need to come to
the shop (only one person has so far.. I know I'll see others)

Another actor I met was Ron Gilbert who has been in the Godfather and who
played an agent from the dept of Justice interviewing "Arturo Marquez" who
was dying in the hospital and whispered "Kaiser Sosay" into Ron's ear in
the Usual Suspects

I also met a fella Named Steve who directed a sci-fi film called "Radiant"
that premiered yesterday (I see it tomorrow) He, like very many others,
loved the poster exhibit and there has been talk of my setting up more
exhibits at other film festivals!!

the Cine-Vegas folks think it was great and they have already invited me
for next year. Of course I dont get paid for the exhibit.. I just get
access to all the movies, parties, I get to schmooze and of course I have
advertisting around the festival as a sponsor

there's a really cool film showing that many of you would find interesting
because of it's Ebay tie-in:

BUY IT NOW (World Premiere) Dir: Antonio Campos 64 minutes
A 16 year old girl sells her virginity on eBay. A story told in two parts-
documentary and narrative.

Last night I saw "the Aristocrats" :

THE ARISTOCRATS ThinkFilm A Film By: Paul Provenza, Penn Jillette 86 minutes
One hundred superstar comedians tell the same very, VERY dirty, filthy joke
one shared privately by comics since Vaudeville.
I cant wait to see Land of the Dead on saturday...

but even better than the films... THE PARTIES!!!

on Saturday I went to a party at the Green Valley Ranch that had almost
3000 people!!
yesterday the party at the VooDoo lounge atop the Rio casino was studded
with many comedians from the Aristocrats film.. I spoke with Teller of Penn
& Teller for a few minutes.. Yeah that's right, we actually spoke. He can
talk!!

tonight's party is supposed to be great as well, but of course, the end
party will be the best one.

Oh I forgot, I also saw the writer's panel that featured Joe Ezsterhas &
Amy Holden Jones..

Now I just hope I can get to do what I really want to do (no, my number one
want is not to have sex with all the gorgeous models.. but there is always
number 2 wants). My number one want.. I gotta meet Dennis Hopper and to a
lesser extent Nick Cage, Ann-margret, Rhonda Fleming & Geo Romero.. meets
with the other will be nice.. But to meet & chat with Hopper.. now that
would be cool! and Geo Winslow said he's going to help me out..

CINE-VEGAS IS GREAT.. WOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOO
