Hi Natalie,
What I do for one-sheets to avoid that telescoping effect is to photograph
them sideways and from above. I kneel on the top step of a small step ladder
and arrange the poster with the top and bottom to the sides. Of course, you will
have to rotate the image when you post it. The result is that I am shooting
a 41x27 object not 27x41. If you want to get fancy, you can put the os on an
easel or some such and shoot straight on.
