i have already received a few private emails telling me that seller should have disclosed the folds.  and, i was asked by a few if there was any chat between us BEFORE i bid.   I did write seller when the item was first listed about the backing, and he answered (and this is exact quote from the ebay message site):   Michael, I really have no idea of what paper was used other than some kind of acid-free type. It was professionally backed. It isn't much thicker than the thickness of an unbacked insert. I would never fold it again, so it would be shipped loosely rolled or flat.   the next day i responded saying i always prefer unbacked stuff, and he stated, and i quote, again:   "I hate linen and paper backing, too. This one never bothered me."
