Hi JR:
I have now used up my three MOPO's for today. The reason I don't ask
Jeff is because most likely he won't answer. AOL "keyword" affected. I put
supper on his table when I was a kid. Went to the Stooge's movies and bought
Stooges toy's and records.
Ironically my Dad was a real estate broker for many years. Yes, people
tried to sell on their own but in many cases deals fell through. They would botch
deals badly. So it's best on a major deal to use a professional. Yes,
houses and high end posters. That poster is a lot of money. I just know
that Grey would do a super job with a reserve. This is a high end piece.
Jeff is just going to have to learn. I really question his reasoning
by listing such a high end one sheet on regular e-bay. It does not make
sense to me. I could see a less expensive one sheet like from a feature but not
a 1935 Curly two-reeler. Best to leave it up to a professional.
In the end he would come out better with less headaches. Heritage "The Century
21" Of Movie Poster Auctions!!!!
Best, Tom Pennock
