well, this seller's arrogance continues. please review the prior
postings with MOPO'S archive section.
he was grossly misleading, coy and slick in his ebay
description. he continued with his purposeful deception in email(s)
to me prior to my placing a bid.
IT WAS NOT UNTIL I OPENED THE PACKAGE THAT I LEARNED THAT THE
POSTER WAS FOLDED AFTER, yes, after, IT WAS PAPER-BACKED.
it is ebay item #7535331294
Nearly all the postings until now by respectable MOPOers and others
AFFIRM that the seller was deceitful. And for those who say that he
offered me a refund, i asked seller about shipping charges, in which he
replied: "I'll pay for the cost of the poster. I have blocked you from
bidding on my auctions in the future."
so, if i wanted to return it, it would cost me about 12.00 out-of-pocket
because of sellers deceit.
frankly, i believe the price i paid was fair. probably even
great. (i purchased the same style one sheet from the heritage auction
about six months ago for about 550.00). but, the fact that i got a good
deal, doesn't changed the fact that seller lied. my actual bid was
hundreds of dollars more; then, i wouldve been really upset. i never
intended to return the poster, but i sought dialogue. all MOPOers should
announce deceptions.
..............now is ebay feedback time. (he already left me good
feedback...............) (i received the poster 8 days after i
paid). he never once showed any concern for my
disappointment. lied, lied, lied. he is a dealer. he lied,
lied, lied.
bad feedback should be reserved to announce fraud, non-payers, and
deliberate or deceitful conduct.
seller knew before i bid, that i am a collector, familiar with posters,
made the heritage auction purchase, and that my other ebay account has a 300
feedback score. and he still was deceitful.
so, fellow collectors, and dealers............... what should
my feedback say? wait and see!
