Hey all,
I have quite an amuzing story about this. I was six years old and terrified
of thunderstorms. In the 70s scrolling text at the bottom of the television
usually only reserved for inclement weather. Well I was watching television
and that all too familiar (beep--beep--beep) with scrolling text started to
roll. I starting screaming and crying got under my bed because there must
have been a storm coming. My mother then explained to me who Elvis Presley
was and that he had just died. If I had taken a moment to look the window I
probably would have seen a sunny day. Anyways, I remember the exact place I
was...though a bit embarrasisng to admit it today.
