It very much IS the fault of Bush, and his wealthy racist cronies (Chaney is STILL on vacation!). At least Clinton took FEMA seriously and funded it accordingly. Bush cut the program in 2001, and it is now being absorbed into Homeland Security to battle terrorism, not emergencies.

Sorry, but this is VERY political. I'm just glad this Administration's colors are finally showing, maybe we will now actually elect politicians who give a shit about America, AND its citizens. Maybe not. One thing is for sure...if this were the Hamptons, Beverly Hills, or Crawford there would have been much more of a decisive action and response. Period.

Bush does not give a flying f**k about regular Americans, especially if you are poor, female, of color, or a veteran.
