Friends:
My call to ask MOPO members to give to the relief effort was just
that. Please concentrate on what you can do to provide some
relief for people. And please remember that this site has been
successful because we try to keep our focus on film posters. There
are plenty of places for people of every political stripe to express an
opinion. And there is no doubt that movie poster collectors are an
intelligent group, largely, and likely to have an opinion about politics
left and right. But I think MOPO is best served by keeping the focus
on posters. I would not want to censor any of you, but I think these
sentiments deserve some consideration.
