Al,
As you can see, several people have supported your claim that media mail is
being opened for "proper use" these days (simply because so many eBay sellers
are using it to ship things that were never intended for the strict uses media
mail class was designed for). Just another good reason not to use media mail.
Although I must say that a Xeroxed copy of a magazine certainly *should* qualify
for media mail status as I understand it... but there's no point in fighting
with the Post Office (you never win). I just won't use media mail any more for
all kinds of reasons.
By the way, are you at all familiar with the internet convention/courtesy
that using a LOT OF ALL CAPITAL LETTERS in a message is the internet EQUIVALENT
OF YELLING or SCREAMING at people? Don't you realize that it is considered QUITE
RUDE to do so? More IMPORTANT -- a lot of people will STOP READING your messages
completely if they contain with SO MANY ALL CAPS WORDS.
Just a suggestion.

I'm glad that you think that the POSTMASTER in LANSING knows
what is happening here in Tampa. So I guess you want to make it out that I
made this all up and is more of my DASTARDLY PLAN to defraud everybody. I
guess the photo copied MAGAZINE that they sent me that they OPENED and told
me they sent POSTAGE due because it was NOT MEDIA MAIL is all made up???I
guess the whole conversation that I had with the POSTMASTER about this is
all a flashback from all the acid I did years ago?????I guess the fact that
I was on the phone 4 hours yesterday trying to find out what happened to
DAVID'S packing that I sent is all BS also. I guess the fact that I tried
to call DAVID with no RESPONSE with the INFO I obtained is all BS also. I
guess the fact that I in FACT am trying to do the right thing here and I
read this nonsense is all the more reason why I should just shut up because
like I said it does not matter what I do SOME OF YOU FOLKS
ARE ........................................I'll stop there and let you use
your imagination. I'm sure you know where I was going. By the way DAVID
sent THE POSTER TO ME PRIORITY MAIL INSURED. It was delivered to my
NEIGHBOR. It was open when I received it.Not that that matters as I'm sure
the POSTMASTER in LANSING knows more about it then me. This response has
been CENSORED by me for the more DELICATE among you who have asked me NOT
TO BE SO CANDID.I hope this response meets with your
approval. Al ----- Original Message ----- From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent:
