ITs not a excuse. People keep saying I am a dealer and so on and so forth. I am not. Your right I could care less about customer service.I have never hid that. And look at the advice Im getting after the fact. I have had 7 diff versions of what the poster is from a magazine cut out to PORTAL to a EARLY 80s REPRO to on and on. SO NO ONE KNOWS WHAT IT IS. AND that is WHAT THE HELL I SAID. I listed in ORIGINAL as that is what I was told it was. I told the history on it and SAID IT COULD BE A REPRO . HOW MANY DAMN TIMES DO I HAVE TO SAY IT. If I had dealt with the MAKER of the poster then I would have said so.If there was a NSS stamp on the back I WOULD have said so.

You said  If it is a full-size reproduction it is a fake - and certainly when you are listing
it in the originals section.

You know this for a fact.I dont. Are you telling me that there has never been a FULL SIZED REPRODUCTION of this poster.Im sure there is. As a matter of fact I know there has to be. And again I listed it in the original section because I was sold the poster as original. So maybe what I should have done is listed it in the reprint section and said that it MAY BE ORIGINAL. Yea right!!!!

You said A little due dilligence on your part and you could have easily determined this before listing and not
gone through all of this mess.

NO one has identified this poster YET. So it is not EASILY determined. And if someone wants to do that MORE POWER TO THEM.Because while it is pretty well proven that the poster is NOT ORIGINAL release no one has proven or spoken up to what it is FOR SURE. And that is why I did not say it was ORIGINAL.That is why I said that it was SOLD to me as ORIGINAL and that it COULD BE something else.BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT I KNEW OF IT. If I had paid good money for the poster YOUR DAMN RIGHT I would have found out FOR SURE what it was. But I did not. Do I think the poster is ORIGINAL??? NO one has asked me???  So I will answer. NO. But it could have been. I am not sure. But the poster was sold to me as ORIGINAL. Did anyone ask me during the auction??? No. They could have and I would have told them that I did not think it was ORIGINAL but that it could be. But then MAYBE they read the description and ALREADY KNEW THIS. That they have a BRAIN and can make up there own mind.

So what it boils down to is do I list it as a reprint and say it MAY BE original that I am not sure or do I list it as a ORIGINAL and say that is was sold to me as ORIGINAL and that it MAY NOT BE. You know what I did. and I would do it again. Now that I think about it what I should have done is list it IN BOTH SECTIONS. Too late for that.

Bottom line I could see you all jumping on me if I listed and sold the poster as ORIGINAL with no disclaimer. Because then you would be right. But to keep coming at me that I knew for sure or know better is WRONG plain and simple.
Im done with this now.

You are not a dealer is an incredibly poor excuse.  You sell more
on eBay than most dealers, you have dealt directly with distribution
companies, you have collected for 20+ years - you should know better, PERIOD.
Claude is not a dealer either, but he was certainly able to spot that there
was something wrong with the poster, as did most other people.
If it is a full-size reproduction it is a fake - and certainly when you are listing
it in the originals section.  End of story. A reissue?  Please, you certainly know
better than that after all these years.  Have you ever seen any Universal re-release
material that is an exact duplicate of the original release material, including the coloring?
A little due dilligence on your part and you could have easily determined this before listing and not
gone through all of this mess.  You have an easy enough time pointing out
your auctions on various groups, why couldn't you have asked for some advice if
this was something about which you had no idea?  You say the NSS info at the bottom
was cut off or you would know - but certainly you realize there have been fakes
made with the NSS information.  Was there an NSS stamp on the back of the poster?
You spend a lot of time on here defending yourself against things that would be very
easy to correct if you even cared a tiny bit about the people who spend their
hard-earned money with you.

Sean
number one I AM NOT A DEALER. You know that.
Number 2 when I say it is not a fake I mean just that. Some one did not fake the poster. It is real be it origianl or reissue or repro. I just dont know WHAT???? That makes PLENTY of sense.Your making more out of this then there is and you know better.
