30 x 40 was definitely an alternate poster size in those days, and those
posters were printed on thicker paper, so what you have is indeed the real
deal!

Subject: [MOPO] Question about an "It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World" Poster

Group,

I picked up a one sheet of this film on Ebay and I was
a little puzzled when I got it. The paper stock is
very thick unlike any one sheets that I've seen.

The size is 30 x 40 which also seemed strange.

Its not a foreign poster. It says made in the USA
1963.

I don't think it's a reproduction. I can tell that the
paper is old.

It's the poster that has everyone fighting over the
suitcase full of money.

Did they occasionally print posters on hard stock
paper back then?

And what about the unusual size?

I'm kind of new at collecting, so if any experienced
collectors can shed some light on this, I'd appreciate
it.

Joe
