The men wrote - "Woman, without her man, is nothing."
The Women wrote "Woman: Without her, man is nothing."
Same sentence, slightly different punctuation, vastly different meanings.
BUT....
Both versions are grammatically correct, but the person writing it has to
know which one to use to get the meaning across.
Thats my input!

The machismo that is, I believe, intended to be expressed here, needs no
commas. The phrase "without her man" is as important to describe the
nothingness as is "a woman". So the males in this class are incorrect.
