One more point-
Concerning my suggestion #5 in the prior posting;
"- Put some low bids on some items that you don't care that much about and you
suspect a shill might be trying to run you up on. Then back off of them and let
the shill have the item. You didn't really want it anyway. But, hey, if you do
end up with it - it's something you had some minor interest in acquiring for
your collection anyway. "
Does this make the bidder who wants to protect himself from shills a shill
himself? What if the guy sitting next to Dario was actually doing this? And
what if he suspected Dario of being the shill- could be pretty funny.
Who needs World Series of Poker on ESPN? They should televise poster auctions!
