I do a verification of address on every transaction. If the shipping
address matches the billing address of the credit card, then I am comfortable
with pretty much any amount.
the only "fly in this ointment" is---what if a thief is committing identity
theft? In that case, the two addresses could match in a transaction which
is in fact fraudulent. For now, identity thieves customarily use their
stolen credit cards to buy jewelry, expensive electronics, things that are very
easy to turn around and sell.
For the moment, movie posters are much too esoteric for identity thieves,
although the time may come when that, sadly, changes.
