Yeah, I gotta chime in here too. I always thought I was a real man too...if that means sex with women as Andy sees it, I guess. I'm also, like Ari, aware of a few real men who really dig real men...what's the big deal? I have no problem with the idea of the film or the actions of the characters and I'm currently reading a great book titled 'Screened Out' about the representation of homosexuality in film through history. I'd like to see it based strictly on that idea...the way it's presented. Otherwise, I'll skip it because I don't care for Hollywood or love stories unless they are unbearably bleak and sad...which I doubt this is.
Andy Milligan (low budget filmmaker) would be the first to argue that the only real gay man is a real man who is gay. Got that? If not, I suggest you read the book about him as well. Sexuality and sexual politics is fascinating stuff, folks.
