[MOPO] Movie Memory Test

During the 60s the average price was about $1.75 for a movie ticket at a  general release in New York.  I remember well the cost to see "The Sound of Music" was $2.00 during it's first release at one theater on Long Island.  Dad complained about it the entire afternoon.  Small drinks from the machine were $0.25 and difficult to purchase during the intermission.  Lines were too long.
