Hi to all,
I have a few favorites--one of which is an original 1932 US 1/2
Sheet on "Scarface" with Paul Muni----also, an original US one sheet from a
1917 silent film called "Teddy At The Throttle", starring Gloria Swanson (her
1st film) and Wallace Beery (his 2nd). I started collecting more than 25
years ago and have had these for almost that long. "Teddy At The Throttle"
is about a dog named Teddy who saves the day when he takes command of a train
and stops it before it runs over Gloria Swanson (who's tied to the
tracks). My brother was known as Teddy when he was a little kid, which
adds a little personal sentimentality to this one sheet for me---plus, as far as
I know, it's the only one out there. If anyone knows of another one sheet
that exists on this title, please let me know! I'd love to find out!
