Hi all

I want to echo some of these opinions. My wife persuaded me to go and watch
it on Saturday Night..... I have never been so bored in a film. This wasn't
the fact that it was about 2 gay sheep herders, it was the fact that the
film was simply dull, slow and boring with an acoustic guitar played between
every scene, if it had been a similar love story with a woman and man it
wouldn't have even made it to the cinema. very dissapointed, the first film
I have walked out of to go and have a cigarette.

The Movie has been nominated for best musical score???? We're the judging
panel tone deaf????

Heath Ledger is a great Actor, thats the only good thing I can say about it
really.

If this wins any Oscars other than Heath Ledger winning leading role then
I'm not sure what the world is coming to.

Regards
Andy

Scott - As you know, I've been on MOPO since Day One, and I think the rules
are fine, yet the flexibility and stretching of the ideas here are what has
made it fun. So, as someone else said - It ain't broke.
Also, I finally saw Brokeback Mt. last night. I was deeply disappointed.
Yes, there was great acting and pretty scenery that was beautifully
photographed. But the movie was so slow and boring that I found myself
looking at my watch after the first 40 minutes. My wife felt the same way. I
guess that something that is based on a short story would be better as a
short movie!
