I'm a lover of both but if cost wasn't an issue, then I'd most probably go
for the original.
Wonderful pieces.

Subject: [MOPO] original release dead card or re-release with the monster
Date: Fri, 10 Feb 2006 22:24:33 -0500

I have a couple of great so-called dead cards - one from Son of
Frankenstein (shows Rathbone and Atwill) and one from Frankenstein
Meets the Wolfman (showing Ilona Massey and Patrick Knowles) These do
a lot more for me than a Realart card (in gaudy reds and yellows most
of the time) would.

It's all a matter of personal taste. Naturally, original release cards
with the "monsters" are the best but the cost is sometimes prohibitive.
