Hi Michael,
Price guides and sales results are only a guide. A quick look at the
reported sources here show results or offered-for-sale prices that are,
for the most part up to 5 years old.
I've always found price guides and results are used most effectively
when seen as a "value arc", taking into account whose sales results they
are, and/or what prices guide they are from. Posterpice sources are
pretty easy to follow as they indicate "ad" net" "ebay" etc indicating
an advertised price or an achieved price.
The lack of results on PP the last two-three years simply means they
haven't been updated by the new owners. A shame.
Bruce's results are Bruce's results, just as Heritage results are
Heritage results, or Christies are Christies, etc etc.
One has to factor in certain points - general difficulty in finding key
Warners paper for their key stars in their key films (WOMAN'S FACE
certainly fits that criteria, being one of Crawford's generally more
highly regarded performances and in an idiosyncratic film) and
co-starring Veidt, also collected in his own right.
Not sure why you would assume WOMAN'S FACE to be an "inexpensive"
poster. Perhaps find one first and then think about the cost versus the
"must-have" factor for you, personally. Of course "expensive" is also in
the eye of the beholder's financial means. Every week I see people pay
ridiculous prices for posters that are easily found by some basic
internet searching and/or regularly flagging "wants"on movie poster
lists and forums.
Of course the irony always is that when one is looking for something
particular, it suddenly seems to be elusive. This is called Murphy's Law.

and the onse shee for 97.00---both in 1997.
heritage doesnt have any sales except a 1941 promotional OS for 173.00
