I do not disagree with JR when he says that the censorship by Andy Goodfella should be discussed on his site, MovieposterForum. I tried that, but i was, again CENSORED. My 2 or 3 sentence friday post on Movieposterforum asking Andy GoodFella why my post of the night before was CENSORED with no explanation was, also, CENSORED, without explanation. My original post was NOT defamatory towards anyone. I have told GoodFella to post the original post and my follow-up question here. He did not.
Feeling frustrated, i told MOPO. Then Jeannie told MOPO of her problems with Goodfella. Then it seemed that so many MOPOers were already aware of the censorship by MPF. In fact, I stated on Friday that someone stated on my thread that MPF censors, and provided the comment.
SO..........MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!! it is acknowledged by all, including goodfella, that MPF censors arbitraily by one person. I had contributed to that site for over a year unaware of the censorship. Had i known, I would have left upon learning of the censorship.
I suppose, JR, that all has been said that needs to be said. So many MOPOers passionately condemned the censorship on MOPO against Goodfella since friday, and rightly so that it appears that about 80% of the posts since friday have been on this subject.
But, of course, Andy Goodfella will not discuss his censorship on his site because the membership is probably not aware of it. HOW DO WE TELL MPF MEMBERS OF THIS CENSORSHIP ????

Andy, Really, this transparent attempt at justifying your own pre-emptive censorship and moves to ban people who you perceive might become a problem is embarrassing. And a lot of people would say you brought it on yourself. We talked about other ways to handle things some time ago privately, but apparently you decided to take the censorship and banning route. So now you get the results. No, I didn't even bother to read the link to NSFGE -- it's immaterial how bad the post is. If the moderators of that forum prefer to have such things happen in order to preserve free speech, unfortunately that's the price you sometimes pay. If they would rather give time for peer pressure to get things back in line and calmed down, that's also an approach I prefer to see taken. I'll take both techniques any day over arbitrary censorship and banning administered by one or two people "for the good of all". But, honestly, everyone on all sides of this needs to realize that these are not MOPO issues.
