That isn't entirely correct, Sue. Some studios still include a
property statement on their posters. For example, posters from Sony
still say "Property of Sony Pictures Entertainment Inc. For
promotional use only. Sale, duplication or transfer of this material
is strictly prohibited." But it's hard to see how this has any
meaning or could possibly be enforceable anymore.
