early on in the night Jon Stewart first mentioned what is the proper
way to accept an Oscar to which Tom Hanks did a great skit where he
finally gets a blow gun dart that knocks him out so his speech ends.
then Jon Stewart showed a clip from Brokeback Mountain and told us
how the old cowboys didn't do that stuff. This was followed by a
series of clips from John Wayne to Gary Cooper with all the
suggestive scenes.. that was a total crackup
