Y'all, I just became aware of something. There are many sellers who have never listed on www.MoviePosterBid.com in the past -- for whatever reason (usually because most folk have limited time and energy on their hands). It may be that some of you are now thinking about listing on the "new MPB" under Rich Halegua's ownership who may have some concern that I might be somehow be offended that you're now listing on MPB when you didn't before -- that I might somehow take that personally?
Absolutely not! More than anything, I would love to see a WHOLE BUNCH of people who have never listed on MPB before jumping in right now to help kick the auction site up to a new level. I started MPB because I felt there was a crying need for an alternative to the massive poster circus on eBay with its high fees, often misleading descriptions, repros sold as "originals" and sometimes outright fraud and abuse. That was the *only* reason I started MPB -- and that's why I want to see the time and effort I've put into creating the auction site over the past 2 years continue and to grow. I'm thrilled that Rich wants to continue the site the way I envisioned it -- but to add even more features, put out a whole lot more publicity, host special events by individual dealers and generally do everything he can to make MPB better than ever.
