Hi Roland-

Okay, fair enough. Sorry for getting myself worked up but I've been feeling a
bit combative lately. As for Heritage and their wanting the items in their
Signature sale to be valued at least $300, I haven't ever heard that before but
it's probably true- even though they do take items that could sell for less as
evidenced by their estimates. I know they are getting tons of stuff offered to
them for their future sales and Grey has to use some kind of number as a
cutoff. Either that or I know that he sometimes takes a few items of lesser
value if he's trying to fill out a genre and feels that a certain title of
lesser value might be necessary or desirable within that genre. Also- I've
seen him try new titles that haven't appeared at major auctions before. While
those titles might not bring a $300 value, he's just trying to expand interest
in the hobby into new directions and titles. Grey kicked out the styles A and B
one sheets of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang I wanted to consign. !
I guess they didn't add up to that $300 value even though I thought they
would make an entertaining lot.

--- Begin Message --- Ron,

I have three posters that are in the March Heritage Signature auction. This is the first time I have consigned posters to them. When I called them months ago to ask what type of movie items they are looking for this auction, I was told about the $300 estimate. That doesn't mean they will sell for $300.

Hey Rich-

That's a lot of disinformation. You guys need to back those kind of statements
up with some actual facts for a change. Present your evidence, not your opinion.

I know (For a Fact) that Heritage does take items that are expected to sell for less than $300 - because I've consigned items that were expected to sell for less than that
at their signature auctions. They would probably like everything to sell! for
more than that, but they are very realistic in their expectations. Hey Roland,
check the estimates. Some of them actually say $200. So why would they list
that if they expected it to do more?

You guys are amazing....

Ron
